Yesterday, a LinkedIn goo-roo said to me, “Likes and comments don’t pay the bills.”
I heartily disagreed.
More likes and comments on your posts mean more people coming to look at your profile. That will lead to more conversations about what you do, and the opportunity to make new connections and deepen existing ones. You can’t build relationships with people if no one is aware that you’re in the room.
So, if you’re feeling a bit defeated because your posts aren’t getting many views or comments, take heart. It doesn’t mean that you don’t have something of value to say, but you might not be posting in the most effective way.
You have something worthwhile to say, but it’s a waste of your time and energy if no one sees or hears it.
There is an art to making better posts. I can help with that.
